Several options are open when the Wichita Falls area hotels & motels are full. This information is provided as a convenience to visitors only and should not be considered as a recommendation from the Hotter’N Hell Hundred.

Hotter'n Hell Housing - MSU Texas

Due to renovations of one of the academic buildings on campus the dormitory facilities will not be available for HHH lodging in 2024.

American Legion Post #169

4615 Lakeshore Drive, WichitaFalls, TX 76310. Indoor, climate-controlled facility. Each registrant will be allowed a 4’ x 8’ space to put their air mattress/cot and personal items. There are 13 female and 20 male spaces available. Call in reservation is required. Inside bike storage, secure vehicle parking and restroom facilities. Sorry, no showers. Outdoor/ Primitive areas are available as well with the same conveniences listed above. Friday evening meal will be available for sign up upon arrival (pizza). Breakfast will be available Saturday morning (scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, and fruit). Donations will be greatly appreciated. For reservations, call 940 704 1839 / 940 733 8370.

Camp Chaparral

Men’s and women’s dorms with bunk beds, full showers, bathrooms and central air conditioning.  Price: $75.00/person for the first night and $65.00 for the second night, available Friday and Saturday. Price includes a hot dinner on Friday evening and an early breakfast Saturday morning. There are bike lockup facilities overnight Friday. Guests need to bring their own bedding.

The YMCA

Indoor Camping….. The Downtown YMCA (1010 9th St) is 3 blocks from the starting line! The cost will be $70 for one night will include multiple areas to “camp” along with indoor bike storage, restrooms, showers, hot tub, steam room, air conditioning, and a light breakfast on ride day! At the Y you are very close to the Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC), home of the Consumer Show, Friday night Spaghetti Dinner, ride start, and festivities at Finish Line Village. Bring your own sleeping bag, air mattress and towels. First Christian Church

3701 TAFT Blvd; Activity Center – INDOOR camping accommodations; Co-ed, open gym floor plan with air conditioning. Stay includes Friday night Spaghetti Dinner and Saturday morning Pre-Ride breakfast. Men’s and Women’s Locker room facilities including showers and restrooms. We are about 4.4 miles from the start of the ride. The Discovery Sunday School class hosts riders every year at First Christian Church. You can check in any time after 3 PM Friday. Bring in your bedding (sleeping bag, cot, air mattress, pillow…) and we’ll find you a spot. You may bring your bikes inside if you like. You can go downtown and check in Friday afternoon if you want or before our check in at the church. We will serve dinner around 6 PM (salad, spaghetti, bread, grapes, brownies, tea and water) and it will be available until around 9 PM. Lights go out around 10pm. Breakfast opens at 4 AM. Breakfast usually includes homemade oatmeal, muffins, bagels, granola bars, bananas, milk, orange juice and coffee.  There will be a water station set up to fill water bottles too. You can come back to shower (you can bring a towel or we will have some available) after the ride if you like. We ask for a donation of $60 per person to cover expenses (cash or check) any profit goes to help youth and special projects at the church not in the budget.

Valley View Country Church

5774 FM 1206, Iowa Park, TX 76367. Contact Lari 940-632-0460. Air conditioned spot with some separate rooms available. Bring your bedding and toiletries and enjoy a nice, quiet night! Suggested donation of $35 per individual per night (Friday and/or Saturday).

Metropolitan Community Church

ONLY 2 blocks from Scott Street and 10 blocks from the STARTING LINE!!!  Bring your bedroll, air mattress and toiletries and join us at the Annual Hotter ‘N Hell CAMP-IN! 

For a donation of $30.00 per individual (or just $55 for two!), you’ll have a quiet, air-conditioned Friday Night indoor camping spot, an ultra-secure locked yard to park your vehicle overnight, indoor storage for your bicycles, and a wonderful breakfast before you start pedaling!  We will have friendly folks on hand to meet your needs. We always have a few games going on before lights-out at 10:00PM. We do not have showers, but will make disposable shower wipes available in our two single-occupancy, all gender bathrooms. 

Stow your gear in your vehicle before you depart for the ride. There will be no entry into the church building after the ride begins. However, a guest-only code will be provided for access to the gated parking area when you're ready to retrieve your vehicle.

St Paul Lutheran Church Family Center 

Off of FM 1954 has 2 dorm rooms with 7 DBL bunk beds each. Total 24 beds. Can sleep up to 35 individuals with a maximum of 14 women. Check in beginning at 1:00PM Friday; checkout must be completed by 9:30AM Sunday. Church member will be on site to provide assistance. Donations welcomed. Contact Hank Hankock 940-704-9336.

OneLife Community Church

Located in Downtown Wichita Falls at 807 Austin St- 3 blocks from the MPEC & the starting line. We have enough space for up to 70 participants- all accommodations are air conditioned and inside. There are two large rooms both of which can accommodate up to 25 individuals and the other can accommodate up to 30 individuals. There are also three smaller private rooms available for individuals or teams. Snacks will be available Friday evening and a light breakfast will be available Saturday morning. There is plenty of storage for bikes available both inside and outside under the covered, enclosed, and secured pavilion. THE BAR-O RANCH

Located in Archer City, TX (25 Miles away) the BAR-O RANCH is the perfect place to get a good night’s sleep before and after the HHH RIDE. Join friends on our big porch for a meal and a mingle! After wards, meditate to the coyote’s lullaby as the Sun says goodnight!

Available Accommodations: English Room - Full size bed adjoining bathroom w/ Wiil Roger’s Room that has 2 twin beds. The Artist Attic has 1 Queen.
